Measurement Zone

At the heart of the exhibition hall, the Measurement Zone has been the most popular addition to the CMS Conference. Each day, challenging programs are scheduled for operators with all levels of experience to perform 3D measurement operations using guided and non-guided techniques.

This year’s MZ sponsor is Hexagon MI.  Hexagon’s talented Application Engineers will guide you through a series of stations that will grow your knowledge of systemic errors when collecting data with laser trackers, multi-station transformations using gravity, and mirror cube measurements.

Participate in the measurement challenge to leverage what you’ve learned in the MZ to compete with the other CMSC attendees for accuracy and time.

Education Zone

The Education Zone hosts a variety of interactive sessions where attendees can interact with experts from across the globe on topics ranging from measurement uncertainty to automation.

Metrology Jeopardy

The main attraction of the Education Zone is the ever-popular Metrology Jeopardy Quiz Show hosted by Bob Elliot. This test-your-knowledge game is based upon the CMS Level-One Certification program and its core body of knowledge. During the CMS Quiz Show, participants will compete in heats, with each winning team competing in a grand finale game to claim the title of CMSC Jeopardy Champions. All attendees are invited to engage in this fun and interactive platform to test their metrology chops.

Three Sessions of Metrology Jeopardy will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday with the Final Metrology Jeopardy event held Wednesday afternoon. All participants will get a ticket toward the prizes to be given out at the Thursday afternoon conference feedback session.
