Training Room Classes

The Coordinate Metrology Society invites metrology hardware and software manufacturers, exhibitors, vendors, and industry suppliers to partner with us in delivering the expanded Coordinate Metrology Society Training (CMST) program at CMSC 2027. From July 19 through July 23, 2027, CMSC will host a full week of integrated conference and technical training at the Hyatt Regency Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina. This expanded format creates a unique opportunity for industry leaders to showcase expertise, provide hands-on education, and position their organizations at the forefront of innovation and workforce development.

We are seeking partners to host and deliver high-value training sessions on topics such as:

  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) fundamentals and digital design applications
  • Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) automation logic and 5-axis applications
  • Large-scale metrology
  • Organizational training development strategies
  • Online learning platforms, including 3DMU
  • OEM-specific technical training
  • CMS Professional Certification preparation

Attendees can choose from two registration tracks, depending on their reason for attending and how their training budget is approved:

  • CMSC (Coordinate Metrology Society Conference): Four days of conference, with free training all day on the first and last days and on the afternoons in between.
  • CMST (Coordinate Metrology Society Training): Training all day on the first and last days and on the afternoons in between, with the four-day conference included free.

Conference registration is required.

Daily and full-week options are available, and both include a ticket to the opening-night Icebreaker. Please contact education@cmsc.org for more information.

Training rooms are free on the first and last days, provided you submit your topic and indicate whether the session is open or closed at least 30 days in advance. Training rooms on the three middle days cost $300 for four hours, either in the morning (8 a.m. to noon) or after lunch (1 to 5 p.m.).
