When you contribute to the CMSF, you deserve to know that your gift is in trusted hands. That’s why we partnered with one of Virginia’s most respected charitable foundations to manage our funds and oversee every step of the scholarship and grant process.
Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia (PCF)
The CMSF has partnered with the Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia, Inc. (PCF), based in Hampton, Virginia — a proven steward of charitable assets with more than two decades of experience managing funds for individuals, families, nonprofits, and corporations. PCF manages 190 charitable funds across a wide range of causes and constituencies.
PCF’s mission is to connect donors with impactful initiatives and strengthen communities through strategic philanthropy. Their deep expertise in fund management, donor relations, and scholarship administration makes them the ideal partner for the CMSF.
What PCF Brings to the CMSF
PCF handles the full lifecycle of CMSF’s scholarship and grant programs, including:
- Application and selection support
- Fund management and financial oversight
- Award distribution to recipients
- Donor acknowledgement and recognition
PCF also supports a robust, nationwide scholarship program that includes 20 scholarships and two teacher grant programs — bringing proven processes and best practices to the CMSF’s own programs.
Why This Partnership Matters
Partnering with PCF means that every dollar donated to the CMSF is managed with integrity, transparency, and a commitment to maximum impact. Donors can give with confidence knowing that their contributions are administered by an experienced, independent foundation with a strong track record.
Applicants for scholarships and grants can trust that the selection process is fair, consistent, and professionally managed — because it is.
